How we gather at Soldier Bay

What to Expect

We come together every week to worship— to study the Bible, sing, and pray. When we spend time with each other and with God, life change happens.

Be comfortable.

It doesn’t matter to us (or God) how you dress for worship. Please come as you are, in whatever clothing you feel most comfortable.

We won’t embarrass you.

We know it can feel awkward to be the “new kid” in the room, and we promise not to single you out as a guest. You’ll be warmly welcomed by the people around you, but we won’t put you on the spot.

Try our guest parking.

Feel welcome to use one of our guest parking spaces—or, if you’re expecting, one of our “stork” spaces.

We’ll help you find your way.

When you arrive, one of our greeters will gladly show you where to go.

Sunday Mornings

9 am – Worship

Worship is our time to give back to God, and we don’t run a stopwatch on that. We say we’re “Spirit-led,” which simply means we allow time to listen and reflect on what we’re learning.

In addition to Pastor Jason’s message, you’ll also experience singing, praying, an offering, and—when you’re ready—a time to commit your life to Jesus.

Our infant ministry is available for the entire worship service. When Pastor Jason’s sermon begins, 3-year-olds to 9-year-olds are encouraged to participate in children’s church—where they can learn Biblical truth on their level.

10 am – Fellowship +  Sunday School

By participating in a Sunday School class, you’ll learn what the Bible says about how to navigate your life challenges and struggles. Whether your kids are being bullied or you’re having a hard time paying your bills, the Bible has something to teach you.

  • Infant ministry: We don’t just change diapers and wipe noses. We want our little ones to experience Christ’s love from the moment they’re born.
  • Children: Age-appropriate, Biblical teaching for toddlers through 5th graders.
  • Youth: Dynamic conversations about what matters to middle- and high-school students.
  • Adults: We offer four adult Sunday School classes based on your season of life.
  • New Member Orientation Class: When you’re ready to join Soldier Bay Baptist Church, let us know! Our three-session new member class teaches the basics of the Bible and what it means to be a “Baptist.”

11 am – Worship

Worship is our time to give back to God, and we don’t run a stopwatch on that. We say we’re “Spirit-led,” which simply means we allow time to listen and reflect on what we’re learning.

Sunday Nights

6 pm Worship

Our Sunday evening worship gathering includes focused teaching, music, and praying. Pastor Jason often uses props and movie clips to help illustrate his message.
