Scripture tells us, “Where your treasure is, there your heart will also be.”

In other words, when we financially invest in something, we tend to get emotionally, psychologically, and spiritually invested in it, too. That’s why we collect an offering every Sunday morning. Plus, giving our first 10% to God (the “tithe”) reminds us to keep Him as our first priority.
